If the shoe fits, Wear It

Today I attended a wedding, in the freezing cold weather, wearing a short-sleeved dress and open toe heels.

Big mistake with the heels. I simply couldn't work and walk in them, so to avoid the drama for yourself, here are a few tips...

If the shoe fits, wear it
If it fits. If it is a tad too big, leave it. I made the mistake of wearing my heels with heel grips due to them being a little bit big, and did I regret it. The grips constantly peeled off and it was a slippery story inside.

The height:
If you can't manage 6 inch heels, stick to the simple one inch. No one will judge you.

Make sure it's comfortable:
If you can run, walk and work in them, buy them sister. Make sure the padding is suitable and you don't be suffering from blisters and sore pinkies later.

The colour:
When buying a heel, remember that they are pricy and you won't be using them daily, so buy a colour that will go with future outfits or outfits which you own already, and look fab with heels.

Durability:
Because of the strain you will be putting on the shoe, wear something that won't fray and be of no use after a few working events.
